What is the importance of Park Commissioner to residents of Champaign?

Decisions made within the park district directly impact the community we live in. It is up to us to see the bigger picture of the community we live in. Making decisions that are for the better of the families within the community development is key.

Why are you qualified to be a Park Commissioner?

I am raising my growing family in the city of Champaign. I have a toddler who’s involvement in programs within the community directly impacts my desire and ability to be a part of decision making with the role of Park Commissioner. My desire to see success goes beyond what is seen at face front, it impacts my life and development of my family.

If elected, what is something you want to accomplish as a Park Commissioner, and how long will it take?

To expand services so that ALL families, regardless of race, background, or economic status feel welcomed and included.

Is there anything else you would like to say to an undecided voter?

I am happy to be raising my young family in the City of Champaign. Decisions made by local officials directly affect my four year-old son, my wife and myself. I want to be a part of the change for the better that we want to see.
