What is the importance of the US Congress to your constituents in Champaign County?

Stopping the attacks on Health Care, SS, Medicare, Medicaid, our Unions, our seniors. Bringing good paying jobs back to the district. Undoing this horrible tax scam plan that just passed. Taking care of Veterans and properly funding education at all levels.

Why are you a qualified to be in the US Congress?

I am a international business man with 25 years of experience, worked in community for many years and I am the Head Coach of the University of Illinois Women s Rugby team. I am a compassionate person that deeply cares about the working class families of our district.

What is a key policy difference between you and your Primary Opponent[s]?

I am a progressive that is willing to openly fight for issues like renewable energy, health care, our teachers, veterans and Unions and he is not near as committed to these issues.

Is there anything else you would like to say to an undecided voter in Champaign County?

Our current congressmen has been serving for 21 years after he ran saying he would serve 4 and quit. He takes millions from special interest groups, will not hold town halls, almost never votes in our best interest and has lost thousands of good paying jobs in the district. Can anyone list one thing positive thing he has done in 21 years, a single bill he sponsored that helps us, NO. He has bee living large off tax payer money for decades and he must be voted out.
