1.) What is the importance of the Champaign County Board to residents in your district?

From the roads we drive on to the technology that runs our court systems, the County Board touches our daily lives in countless ways.

2.) Why are you qualified to be on the Champaign County Board?

I work in homeless and low income services.

I'm a former public school teacher.

I am the former local lead for Champaign-Urbana Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America.

I'm a lifelong progressive Democrat.

3.) If elected, what is something you want to accomplish on the County Board, and how long will it take?

I will hold listening sessions for the people of District 9-- to educate constituents on the issues facing the County Board and ask for their input on those issues.

4.) Is there anything else you would like to say to an undecided voter?

Since filing to be on the ballot for the unexpired term in County Board District 9, I have been to every County Board Meeting, Committee of the Whole, and Democratic Caucus. I have taken every opportunity to speak with knowledgeable community members about the issues currently facing the County Board. If elected, I will continue to show up, do my homework, and represent District 9 with diligence and integrity.
