County Board Candidate - District 6 |
|
What is the importance the County Board to your constituents? |
Any government ran agency or board should really be open to hearing and listening to their constituents' concerns all the time, along with their voices be represented very well at meetings. |
What is a key policy difference between you and your Primary Opponent[s]? |
That I have many years of experience educating and politically representing a variety of different people, students and parents all while promoting education as lifelong learning, and my strong commitment to diversity unlike my opponents. |
The Champaign County Public Nursing Home and the County Board have been featured in the news heavily this past year, how do you feel about this and is there anything voters need to know? |
It appear to be a complicated matter, however, I believe in seeking out more research information which require hearing from the people whose on the ground level running the Nursing Home, and the families who love ones are there in regard to their views. |
Is there anything else you would like to say to an undecided voter in Champaign County? |
Yes, I believe change of new board members every so often is always a good thing, which allows new and fresh ideas and representation to take place, especially with old and repeating issues. |
